BIOVECTRA s\u2019est donn\u00e9 pour mission d\u2019\u00eatre reconnue comme une organisation apprenante, et je suis ravie de partager la fa\u00e7on dont notre strat\u00e9gie en mati\u00e8re de talents et notre partenariat avec <a href=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/fr\/?post_type=project&#038;p=20991\">l\u2019Alliance canadienne pour les comp\u00e9tences et la formation en sciences de la vie (CASTL)<\/a> rel\u00e8vent les d\u00e9fis de l\u2019industrie tout en produisant des r\u00e9sultats importants pour nos employ\u00e9s, le secteur de la biofabrication et l\u2019\u00e9conomie du Canada.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BIOVECTRA est une organisation de d\u00e9veloppement et de fabrication sous contrat (CDMO), ce qui signifie qu\u2019elle travaille en partenariat avec des soci\u00e9t\u00e9s pharmaceutiques pour d\u00e9velopper et produire des ingr\u00e9dients pharmaceutiques actifs utilis\u00e9s dans divers produits pharmaceutiques. Qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse de traitements contre le cancer, de th\u00e9rapies contre les maladies r\u00e9nales ou de m\u00e9dicaments contre les crises d\u2019\u00e9pilepsie infantiles, notre travail a un impact sur des vies dans le monde entier.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Les talents au premier plan<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Notre succ\u00e8s repose sur nos gens. Chez BIOVECTRA, nous sommes fiers de favoriser une main-d\u2019\u0153uvre diversifi\u00e9e et inclusive : 40 % de nos employ\u00e9s sont issus de milieux divers et 30 % s\u2019identifient comme membres de groupes racialis\u00e9s. Si 20 % de nos employ\u00e9s sont titulaires d\u2019un dipl\u00f4me d\u2019\u00e9tudes sup\u00e9rieures, la majorit\u00e9 d\u2019entre eux (80 %) ne le sont pas, ce qui bat en br\u00e8che le mythe selon lequel un doctorat ou une formation scientifique est un pr\u00e9requis pour rejoindre notre secteur d\u2019activit\u00e9. C\u2019est l\u00e0 que la formation et le d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences entrent en jeu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nous avons atteint un taux de r\u00e9tention de 90 %, que nous attribuons \u00e0 nos programmes de formation complets. Ces programmes accueillent des personnes d\u2019horizons divers, qu\u2019elles soient fra\u00eechement sorties de l\u2019\u00e9cole ou en transition de carri\u00e8re, et leur permettent d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir les comp\u00e9tences n\u00e9cessaires pour occuper des postes dans les secteurs de la fabrication, de l\u2019assurance qualit\u00e9 et de la recherche et du d\u00e9veloppement. En outre, nous soutenons les employ\u00e9s qui souhaitent obtenir des dipl\u00f4mes de premier et de deuxi\u00e8me cycle, des certifications et des opportunit\u00e9s de d\u00e9veloppement professionnel.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Le d\u00e9fi de la p\u00e9nurie de comp\u00e9tences<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019industrie de la biofabrication est confront\u00e9e \u00e0 un d\u00e9fi pressant : une p\u00e9nurie de comp\u00e9tences \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9chelle du secteur, qui devrait atteindre 65\u2009000 travailleurs d\u2019ici \u00e0 2026. Cependant, ce foss\u00e9 est d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9vident aujourd\u2019hui, amplifi\u00e9 par la pand\u00e9mie et la concurrence mondiale pour les talents. Le recrutement de professionnels qualifi\u00e9s est particuli\u00e8rement difficile dans le Canada atlantique, o\u00f9 l\u2019attraction et la r\u00e9tention des talents n\u00e9cessitent des approches innovantes. Depuis 2020, nous collaborons \u00e0 des programmes de requalification con\u00e7us pour r\u00e9pondre aux besoins de l\u2019industrie. Ces programmes offrent aux participants une formation pratique sur les m\u00eames \u00e9quipements que ceux utilis\u00e9s dans nos installations, ce qui leur permet d\u2019\u00eatre pr\u00eats \u00e0 travailler. \u00c0 ce jour, nous nous sommes engag\u00e9s dans les sept cohortes de requalification de CASTL, en les utilisant comme strat\u00e9gie de recrutement. En moyenne, nous embauchons trois \u00e0 cinq participants par cohorte pour des stages de formation en cours d\u2019emploi, ce qui leur permet souvent d\u2019acc\u00e9der \u00e0 des postes permanents.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les programmes de formation personnalis\u00e9s du CASTL offrent une approche unique et efficace. Ils permettent aux individus d\u2019apprendre dans un environnement s\u00fbr, o\u00f9 ils peuvent faire des erreurs et poser des questions sans perturber nos activit\u00e9s 24 heures sur 24 et 7 jours sur 7. Par exemple, Anita, ancienne coiffeuse depuis 25 ans, a poursuivi son r\u00eave de travailler dans le domaine scientifique en rejoignant BIOVECTRA il y a 8 ans et demi. Elle a r\u00e9cemment particip\u00e9 au programme de formation personnalis\u00e9 du CASTL afin de se perfectionner dans la fabrication de vaccins \u00e0 base d\u2019ARNm et d\u2019ADNp, plus avanc\u00e9s, pour notre nouvelle installation. Aujourd\u2019hui, Anita est une membre chevronn\u00e9e et appr\u00e9ci\u00e9e de notre \u00e9quipe, ce qui prouve qu\u2019avec une formation et un soutien ad\u00e9quats, les transitions de carri\u00e8re dans la biofabrication sont possibles.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>B\u00e2tir la bio\u00e9conomie du Canada<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chez BIOVECTRA, nous ne nous contentons pas de d\u00e9velopper notre activit\u00e9, nous contribuons \u00e0 la bio\u00e9conomie au sens large. Notre strat\u00e9gie en mati\u00e8re de talents et notre partenariat avec le CASTL illustrent le pouvoir de la collaboration entre les secteurs public et priv\u00e9 pour rem\u00e9dier aux p\u00e9nuries de comp\u00e9tences, encourager l\u2019innovation et cr\u00e9er des opportunit\u00e9s pour les individus et les communaut\u00e9s. Toutefois, d\u2019autres mesures sont n\u00e9cessaires. Nous devons continuer \u00e0 faire preuve de cr\u00e9ativit\u00e9 et d\u2019audace pour attirer, former et retenir les talents.
