Les emplois de tous les secteurs ont mis l\u2019accent sur le besoin de comp\u00e9tences socio\u00e9motionnelles, soulignant la valeur de ces comp\u00e9tences en p\u00e9riode d\u2019incertitude et de volatilit\u00e9 \u00e9conomiques. L\u2019ann\u00e9e a commenc\u00e9 au plus fort de la vague de COVID-19 aliment\u00e9e par la variante Omicron, qui a conduit \u00e0 une autre s\u00e9rie de&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/news.ontario.ca\/fr\/release\/1001394\/lontario-retourne-temporairement-a-la-deuxieme-etape-modifiee-de-son-plan-daction-pour-le-deconfinement\">confinements et de fermetures&nbsp;(external link)&nbsp;<\/a>&nbsp;\u00e0 travers le pays. Le 24&nbsp;f\u00e9vrier, la Russie a lanc\u00e9 une invasion majeure de l\u2019Ukraine, provoquant une flamb\u00e9e des prix du p\u00e9trole et contribuant \u00e0 la&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.conferenceboard.ca\/insights\/economic-impact-on-canada-of-the-war-in-ukraine\/\">hausse des prix des produits de base&nbsp;(external link)&nbsp;<\/a>, qui avaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 \u00e9t\u00e9 affect\u00e9s par les perturbations de la cha\u00eene d\u2019approvisionnement li\u00e9es aux restrictions occasionn\u00e9es par la pand\u00e9mie. La hausse des taux d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat, la forte inflation et le retour \u00e0 la \u00ab\u2009normale\u2009\u00bb ont \u00e9galement entra\u00een\u00e9 des&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/financialpost.com\/fp-work\/wave-tech-layoffs-power-back-favour-employers-sector\">licenciements dans le secteur de la technologie&nbsp;(external link)&nbsp;<\/a>, un domaine souvent consid\u00e9r\u00e9 comme&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/news\/business\/tech-jobs-collision-1.6498687\">immunis\u00e9 contre les ralentissements&nbsp;(external link)&nbsp;<\/a>.<br><br>Malgr\u00e9 ces obstacles, le taux de ch\u00f4mage&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbc.ca\/amp\/1.6381234\">est tomb\u00e9 \u00e0 5,5&nbsp;% en f\u00e9vrier 2022&nbsp;(external link)&nbsp;<\/a>, le plus bas depuis f\u00e9vrier 2020 avant la pand\u00e9mie de COVID-19. Tout au long de l\u2019ann\u00e9e, le Canada a commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 lever les restrictions, assouplissant les r\u00e8glementations sur les voyages, la distanciation sociale et le port du masque. Sur le march\u00e9 du travail canadien, les femmes&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/lmic-cimt.ca\/fr\/les-femmes-en-periode-de-reprise-economique-la-covid-19-et-la-participation-des-femmes-au-marche-du-travail\/\">ont connu une reprise rapide&nbsp;(external link)&nbsp;<\/a>&nbsp;de l\u2019emploi, d\u00e9passant celle des hommes. Le taux d\u2019emploi des femmes a augment\u00e9 de 2&nbsp;%, ou 178\u2009000&nbsp;emplois, par rapport \u00e0 f\u00e9vrier 2020, tandis que celui des hommes a augment\u00e9 de 1,9&nbsp;%, ou 192\u2009000&nbsp;emplois, pendant la m\u00eame p\u00e9riode. En f\u00e9vrier 2022, le pourcentage de femmes du principal groupe d\u2019\u00e2ge actif de 25 \u00e0 54&nbsp;ans occupant des emplois a atteint un sommet historique de 81&nbsp;%, principalement en raison d\u2019une hausse de l\u2019emploi \u00e0 temps plein. \u00c9tant donn\u00e9 que les femmes se retrouvent dans plusieurs des industries les plus durement touch\u00e9es par la pand\u00e9mie, comme le commerce de d\u00e9tail et l\u2019h\u00f4tellerie, l\u2019emploi des femmes devrait \u00e9galement s\u2019am\u00e9liorer alors que ces secteurs continuent de rebondir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Des chercheurs du Diversity Institute ont examin\u00e9 la demande du march\u00e9 du travail en 2022 en utilisant comme indicateur les offres d\u2019emploi en ligne selon les donn\u00e9es de la suite analytique de la demande d\u2019embauche de Vicinity Jobs, une plateforme qui recueille des renseignements sur les offres d\u2019emploi en ligne au Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table is-style-regular\"><table><thead><tr><th><\/th><th>2019<\/th><th>2020<\/th><th>2021<\/th><th>2022<\/th><th>% de variation<br>2021 \u00e0 2022<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>Nombre d\u2019offres d\u2019emploi<\/td><td>1 168 787<\/td><td>704 996<\/td><td>1 127 257<\/td><td>1 780 807<\/td><td>+ 60<\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><strong><strong>Tableau&nbsp;1. Cette hausse s\u2019est poursuivie en 2022, alors que les offres d\u2019emploi ont augment\u00e9 de 60&nbsp;% par rapport \u00e0 l\u2019ann\u00e9e pr\u00e9c\u00e9dente (tableau&nbsp;1). En 2022, le nombre d\u2019offres d\u2019emploi \u00e9tait 52&nbsp;% plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 qu\u2019en 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019augmentation des offres d\u2019emploi en 2022 peut refl\u00e9ter les d\u00e9fis auxquels les entreprises ont d\u00fb faire face pour combler la p\u00e9nurie de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre caus\u00e9e en partie par la pand\u00e9mie. Alors que l\u2019absent\u00e9isme au sein de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre a augment\u00e9 en 2022 en raison de la flamb\u00e9e de la variante Omicron de la COVID-19, de la grippe et d\u2019autres virus respiratoires, les entreprises ont peut-\u00eatre \u00e9galement cherch\u00e9 \u00e0 embaucher plus de personnel pour compenser les absences. Selon l\u2019<a href=\"https:\/\/www150.statcan.gc.ca\/n1\/daily-quotidien\/230106\/dq230106a-fra.htm\">Enqu\u00eate sur la population active, d\u00e9cembre 2022&nbsp;(external link)&nbsp;<\/a>&nbsp;de Statistique Canada, 8,1&nbsp;% des employ\u00e9es et employ\u00e9s \u00e9taient absents pour cause de maladie ou d\u2019invalidit\u00e9 au cours de la semaine analys\u00e9e (du 4 au 10&nbsp;d\u00e9cembre). Il s\u2019agit d\u2019une hausse de 6,8&nbsp;% par rapport \u00e0 novembre, et cela d\u00e9passe la moyenne mensuelle de 6,9&nbsp;%, pour d\u00e9cembre, observ\u00e9e de 2017 \u00e0 2019. Cela peut refl\u00e9ter une baisse de la demande de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre, car les entreprises cherchaient \u00e0 resserrer leurs d\u00e9penses \u00e0 mesure que les taux d\u2019int\u00e9r\u00eat et l\u2019inflation augmentaient et qu\u2019une&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/globalnews.ca\/news\/9414102\/canada-recession-deeper-job-losses-inflation-deloitte\/\">r\u00e9cession possible se profilait&nbsp;(external link)&nbsp;<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En examinant les offres d\u2019emploi par r\u00e9gion, on constate que toutes les provinces ont connu une augmentation des offres d\u2019emploi en 2022 par rapport aux trois ann\u00e9es pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes (c\u2019est-\u00e0-dire 2019, 2020 et 2021). Le nombre d\u2019offres d\u2019emploi s\u2019est non seulement r\u00e9tabli apr\u00e8s la pand\u00e9mie, mais il a \u00e9galement d\u00e9pass\u00e9 les niveaux d\u2019avant la pand\u00e9mie. La hausse a \u00e9t\u00e9 particuli\u00e8rement importante dans les territoires du Nord, o\u00f9 le nombre d\u2019offres d\u2019emploi en 2022 \u00e9tait 77&nbsp;% plus \u00e9lev\u00e9 qu\u2019en 2021. Les comp\u00e9tences les plus recherch\u00e9es en 2022 \u00e9taient les comp\u00e9tences socio\u00e9motionnelles, parfois appel\u00e9es comp\u00e9tences de \u00ab\u2009savoir-\u00eatre\u2009\u00bb.
