En particulier, les deux parties sont sur la m\u00eame longueur d\u2019onde en ce qui concerne le type de comp\u00e9tences n\u00e9cessaires pour r\u00e9ussir dans l\u2019\u00e9conomie d\u2019aujourd\u2019hui.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chaque ann\u00e9e,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/bher.ca\/sites\/default\/files\/2022-03\/Empowering%20People%20for%20Recovery%20and%20Growth%202022%20Skills%20Survey%20Report_3.pdf\">les plus grandes entreprises du pays <\/a>sont interrog\u00e9es sur les comp\u00e9tences recherch\u00e9es lors du recrutement de nouveaux employ\u00e9s. Et chaque ann\u00e9e, le message est le m\u00eame. Lorsque nous avons demand\u00e9 \u00e0 la population active canadienne quelles \u00e9taient les comp\u00e9tences les plus importantes pour obtenir leur emploi actuel, les r\u00e9ponses les plus fr\u00e9quentes ont \u00e9t\u00e9 la capacit\u00e9 de r\u00e9soudre des probl\u00e8mes, les comp\u00e9tences en communication, la capacit\u00e9 de collaborer avec d\u2019autres personnes et de travailler en \u00e9quipe, et la capacit\u00e9 de s\u2019adapter rapidement au changement en acqu\u00e9rant de nouvelles comp\u00e9tences. Cette liste devance le savoir-faire sp\u00e9cifique \u00e0 un emploi, ainsi que des \u00e9l\u00e9ments tels que les comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques ou l\u2019aisance avec les chiffres.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deux de ces m\u00eames types de comp\u00e9tences&nbsp;: les comp\u00e9tences en communication et la capacit\u00e9 \u00e0 s\u2019adapter rapidement au changement figurent \u00e9galement sur la liste des comp\u00e9tences que la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre canadienne juge les plus importantes pour r\u00e9ussir dans sa carri\u00e8re \u00e0 l\u2019avenir.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lorsqu\u2019il s\u2019agit des types de comp\u00e9tences que nous devons enseigner et apprendre, les employeurs et les employ\u00e9s au Canada vont donc dans la m\u00eame direction. Cependant, comment ces comp\u00e9tences sont-elles acquises\u2009? Et comment sont-elles actualis\u00e9es au cours d\u2019une carri\u00e8re\u2009?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Les r\u00e9ponses de notre enqu\u00eate \u00e0 ces questions sont moins rassurantes. Seul un Canadien sur trois faisant partie de la population active avait particip\u00e9 \u00e0 un cours de formation offert par son employeur au cours des deux derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. Deux personnes sur cinq ont suivi une formation offerte par leur employeur ou par eux-m\u00eames, ce qui laisse une majorit\u00e9 d\u2019entre eux sans formation officielle au cours des deux derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es. L\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la formation professionnelle diminue avec l\u2019\u00e2ge, ce qui signifie que nous sommes bien meilleurs pour int\u00e9grer les nouveaux travailleurs que pour actualiser les comp\u00e9tences des travailleurs \u00e9tablis lorsqu\u2019ils passent \u00e0 des phases plus difficiles de leur carri\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour ceux qui ont acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la formation, il n\u2019est pas clair dans quelle mesure celle-ci est ax\u00e9e sur le renforcement des comp\u00e9tences les plus demand\u00e9es (comme la communication, la collaboration et la r\u00e9solution de probl\u00e8mes). Au cours des deux derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, 40&nbsp;% des formations qualifiantes re\u00e7ues ont port\u00e9 sur l\u2019adaptation aux changements sur le lieu de travail caus\u00e9s par la pand\u00e9mie. C\u2019est essentiel pour la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 sur le lieu de travail, mais cela laisse moins de temps pour d\u2019autres formes d\u2019am\u00e9lioration des comp\u00e9tences qui r\u00e9pondent aux besoins \u00e0 long terme de l\u2019\u00e9conomie. Des descriptions plus d\u00e9taill\u00e9es des exp\u00e9riences de formation professionnelle font \u00e9tat d\u2019un large \u00e9ventail de sujets couverts, comme la formation aux premiers soins ou l\u2019apprentissage de l\u2019utilisation de nouvelles machines ou de nouveaux logiciels, mais peu de preuves d\u2019une approche plus strat\u00e9gique de la formation destin\u00e9e \u00e0 renforcer le travail d\u2019\u00e9quipe, le leadership et la r\u00e9solution de probl\u00e8mes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Il est vrai que ces comp\u00e9tences peuvent \u00eatre plus difficiles \u00e0 enseigner. Il n\u2019est peut-\u00eatre pas surprenant que la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre nous ait confi\u00e9 que son moyen pr\u00e9f\u00e9r\u00e9 d\u2019acqu\u00e9rir de nouvelles comp\u00e9tences n\u2019\u00e9tait pas du tout de suivre des cours de formation, mais d\u2019apprendre directement de ses coll\u00e8gues sur le lieu de travail. Cela en dit long sur la camaraderie sur le lieu de travail. Toutefois, cela soul\u00e8ve la question de savoir si les employeurs canadiens ne sont pas trop passifs dans leur approche de la promotion du type de comp\u00e9tences transversales qu\u2019ils consid\u00e8rent eux-m\u00eames comme essentielles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La pand\u00e9mie de la COVID-19 a \u00e9t\u00e9 perturbante, mais finalement, elle ne fournit aucune excuse. Seul un travailleur sur cinq qui n\u2019a pas eu acc\u00e8s \u00e0 la formation au cours des deux derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es d\u00e9clare que c\u2019est parce que la pand\u00e9mie a rendu la t\u00e2che trop difficile. Beaucoup d\u2019autres ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 qu\u2019ils n\u2019en voyaient pas la n\u00e9cessit\u00e9, tandis que d\u2019autres ont expliqu\u00e9 que la formation co\u00fbtait trop cher ou prenait trop de temps. Et la plupart de ceux qui ont suivi un cours de formation professionnelle au cours des deux derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es ont re\u00e7u au moins une partie de leur enseignement \u00e0 distance, ce qui d\u00e9montre que la formation peut s\u2019adapter aux nouvelles r\u00e9alit\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>L\u2019\u00e9tape suivante consiste donc \u00e0 aller au-del\u00e0 de la convention selon laquelle une main-d\u2019\u0153uvre plus collaborative, plus critique et plus adaptable est essentielle pour l\u2019avenir du pays, et \u00e0 \u00e9tablir un consensus sur la mani\u00e8re d\u2019offrir \u00e0 un plus grand nombre de travailleurs, \u00e0 un plus grand nombre d\u2019\u00e9tapes de leur carri\u00e8re, des possibilit\u00e9s de formation ax\u00e9es sur cette t\u00e2che. Les employeurs, en particulier, devraient prendre des mesures pour nous faire passer d\u2019une situation o\u00f9 la plupart de leurs employ\u00e9s ne sont pas concern\u00e9s \u00e0 une situation o\u00f9 la plupart sont impliqu\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pour aller de l\u2019avant, nous devons commencer \u00e0 nous concentrer sur&nbsp;:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>l\u2019adoption d\u2019une perspective sectorielle, comme la pand\u00e9mie de la COVID-19 a touch\u00e9 chaque industrie de mani\u00e8re diff\u00e9rente, les solutions de formation doivent \u00eatre adapt\u00e9es aux besoins de chaque secteur.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>les groupes en qu\u00eate d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9&nbsp;: la pand\u00e9mie a creus\u00e9 les disparit\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9ducation, d\u2019emploi et de revenus entre divers groupes d\u00e9mographiques qui existaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 avant la pand\u00e9mie. Nous devons porter notre attention sur les groupes en qu\u00eate d\u2019\u00e9quit\u00e9 afin de garantir qu\u2019ils ne soient pas laiss\u00e9s pour compte lors de la reprise de notre \u00e9conomie.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>les comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques&nbsp;: la pand\u00e9mie a acc\u00e9l\u00e9r\u00e9 la transformation num\u00e9rique de nombreuses industries, et nous devons nous assurer que les Canadiens poss\u00e8dent les comp\u00e9tences num\u00e9riques n\u00e9cessaires pour suivre ce changement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>les conseils et l\u2019orientation professionnelle&nbsp;: l\u2019accessibilit\u00e9, l\u2019inclusion et la sensibilisation aux services et une meilleure connaissance du march\u00e9 du travail sont n\u00e9cessaires pour que les Canadiens puissent acqu\u00e9rir des comp\u00e9tences professionnelles.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Les r\u00e9percussions de la pand\u00e9mie sur un march\u00e9 du travail qui subissait d\u00e9j\u00e0 d\u2019importantes transformations ont n\u00e9cessit\u00e9 une approche plus strat\u00e9gique et intentionnelle de la formation aux comp\u00e9tences, impliquant les employeurs, les employ\u00e9s, les demandeurs d\u2019emploi et l\u2019\u00e9cosyst\u00e8me plus large de la formation aux comp\u00e9tences.
