C\u2019est ce que pr\u00e9voit le conseil des <a href=\"https:\/\/mihr.ca\/\">ressources humaines de l\u2019industrie mini\u00e8re<\/a> (MiHR) dans son rapport post-pand\u00e9mie, intitul\u00e9 <a href=\"https:\/\/mihr.ca\/news\/mining-year-in-review-national-outlook-2021\/\"><em>National Outlook&nbsp;2021<\/em><\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">Dans le m\u00eame rapport, le conseil r\u00e9v\u00e8le les r\u00e9sultats surprenants d\u2019une enqu\u00eate sur les donn\u00e9es d\u00e9mographiques actuelles du secteur, ainsi que les causes possibles de la p\u00e9nurie qui freine la croissance de la r\u00e9serve de talents et de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">Parmi les 3\u2009000&nbsp;personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es de 15 \u00e0 24&nbsp;ans qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 interrog\u00e9es, 42&nbsp;% ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 qu\u2019elles n\u2019envisageraient \u00ab\u2009certainement pas une carri\u00e8re dans le secteur minier\u2009\u00bb. En parall\u00e8le, le rapport indique qu\u2019en d\u00e9cembre 2020, 8\u2009900&nbsp;femmes \u00e9taient employ\u00e9es dans l\u2019industrie mini\u00e8re, soit un maigre pourcentage de 15&nbsp;% de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">Comment l\u2019industrie mini\u00e8re peut-elle attirer les jeunes chercheurs d\u2019emploi qui entrent sur le march\u00e9 du travail\u2009? De m\u00eame, comment attirer et recruter de nouveaux travailleurs issus de groupes d\u00e9mographiques sous-repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s, notamment les autochtones, les femmes et les immigrants, afin de remplir le r\u00e9servoir de talents\u2009?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-large-paragraph\"><strong>Pensez \u00e0 la p\u00e9nurie de comp\u00e9tences&nbsp;: Exploiter la technologie pour d\u00e9velopper des comp\u00e9tences mini\u00e8res modernes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">Au cours de la derni\u00e8re d\u00e9cennie, l\u2019industrie mini\u00e8re mondiale a poursuivi son \u00e9lan vers une transformation in\u00e9vitable. Les investissements \u00e0 grande \u00e9chelle dans la robotique, l\u2019automatisation, les technologies de l\u2019Internet des objets (IoT) et la mine num\u00e9rique indiquent que l\u2019industrie est pr\u00eate \u00e0 vivre un changement de paradigme sans pr\u00e9c\u00e9dent, et il devient de plus en plus important pour les entreprises mini\u00e8res d\u2019aligner la formation de leur main-d\u2019\u0153uvre sur les besoins de l\u2019industrie de demain. Entre-temps, les carri\u00e8res dans le secteur minier du pass\u00e9 ne constituent plus un indicateur des carri\u00e8res dans le secteur minier de l\u2019avenir. Il est donc de plus en plus n\u00e9cessaire que les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s mini\u00e8res pr\u00e9parent les travailleurs actuels et potentiels \u00e0 ces avanc\u00e9es technologiques et \u00e0 ces innovations, et qu\u2019elles leur fournissent les comp\u00e9tences et l\u2019assurance n\u00e9cessaires pour mettre en \u0153uvre, exploiter et g\u00e9rer les technologies \u00e9mergentes qui sont adopt\u00e9es par l\u2019industrie mini\u00e8re mondiale et la transforment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">Parall\u00e8lement, afin de retenir les meilleurs talents et d\u2019attirer la prochaine g\u00e9n\u00e9ration de jeunes employ\u00e9s technophiles, les soci\u00e9t\u00e9s mini\u00e8res doivent reconna\u00eetre que les jeunes travailleurs ont des styles d\u2019apprentissage et des attentes diff\u00e9rents de ceux des g\u00e9n\u00e9rations pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes. Si la formation pratique et en classe avec instructeur (souvent qualifi\u00e9e de formation \u00ab\u2009PowerPoint\u2009\u00bb) sera toujours n\u00e9cessaire sous une forme ou une autre, l\u2019int\u00e9gration de l\u2019apprentissage en ligne, de la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 virtuelle (RV), de la formation par simulation de l\u2019\u00e9quipement et de la validation des comp\u00e9tences sur le terrain offre aux \u00e9tudiants la possibilit\u00e9 d\u2019apprendre de la mani\u00e8re qui leur convient le mieux. En d\u00e9finitive, ces nouvelles technologies d\u2019apprentissage transforment la fa\u00e7on dont les industries de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre qualifi\u00e9e, y compris l\u2019industrie mini\u00e8re, cr\u00e9ent, engagent et d\u00e9ploient des programmes de formation et de d\u00e9veloppement pour combler les lacunes en mati\u00e8re de comp\u00e9tences, red\u00e9finissant le \u00ab\u2009nouveau monde de la formation\u2009\u00bb pour soutenir le \u00ab\u2009nouveau monde du travail\u2009\u00bb qui \u00e9merge \u00e0 la suite de la renaissance num\u00e9rique susmentionn\u00e9e.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">Dans cette optique, et en s\u2019appuyant sur les connaissances acquises au cours de 20&nbsp;ann\u00e9es de prestation de services et de programmes de formation et de d\u00e9veloppement aux industries de la main-d\u2019\u0153uvre qualifi\u00e9e du monde entier, l\u2019\u00e9quipe de NORCAT a formul\u00e9 l\u2019hypoth\u00e8se suivante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">\u00ab\u2009Notre m\u00e9thodologie d\u2019apprentissage et de formation int\u00e9gr\u00e9e\/mixte permettra aux travailleurs miniers, nouveaux ou existants, [d\u2019atteindre] un niveau de comp\u00e9tence et de confiance identique ou sup\u00e9rieur dans un d\u00e9lai court, de mani\u00e8re moins co\u00fbteuse et via une m\u00e9thode plus engageante et inspirante, par rapport aux m\u00e9thodes \u00e9ducatives du statu quo.\u2009\u00bb<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un investissement du Centre des Comp\u00e9tences futures, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.norcat.org\/\">NORCAT<\/a>, en collaboration avec un certain nombre de ses partenaires locaux, dont <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vale.com\/canada\/EN\/Pages\/default.aspx\">Vale Canada<\/a> et <a href=\"https:\/\/www.glencore.ca\/en\/sudburyino\/\">Sudbury Integrated Nickel Operations<\/a>, une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de Glencore, a lanc\u00e9 un projet de 18&nbsp;mois pour d\u00e9velopper, tester et d\u00e9ployer une s\u00e9rie de programmes mixtes ax\u00e9s sur la technologie afin de prouver cette hypoth\u00e8se, dans le but ultime d\u2019engager, de renforcer et d\u2019\u00e9duquer la future main-d\u2019\u0153uvre mini\u00e8re du Canada.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">Au cours de ce projet de 18&nbsp;mois, nous avons valid\u00e9 l\u2019int\u00e9gration de l\u2019apprentissage en ligne avec la RV et la formation par simulation, associ\u00e9e \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9valuation des comp\u00e9tences sur le terrain, comme une nouvelle m\u00e9thode de formation unique. Gr\u00e2ce aux commentaires des \u00e9tudiants, nous avons d\u00e9termin\u00e9 que la confiance en soi en ce qui concerne l\u2019utilisation de l\u2019\u00e9quipement s\u2019est am\u00e9lior\u00e9e de 50&nbsp;% entre la semaine&nbsp;1 et la semaine&nbsp;5 du programme. En outre, 100&nbsp;% des stagiaires ont d\u00e9clar\u00e9 que l\u2019exercice \u00e0 l\u2019aide de la RV avait renforc\u00e9 les \u00e9tapes et les exigences n\u00e9cessaires aux v\u00e9rifications de l\u2019\u00e9quipement sur le terrain.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">Outre l\u2019enqu\u00eate sur l\u2019exp\u00e9rience des stagiaires, nous avons demand\u00e9 aux formateurs de NORCAT de commenter le niveau de pr\u00e9paration, de confiance et de comp\u00e9tence des stagiaires \u00e0 l\u2019issue du programme d\u2019apprentissage mixte, par rapport aux anciens \u00e9tudiants qui avaient \u00e9t\u00e9 form\u00e9s uniquement par des m\u00e9thodes traditionnelles. Leur \u00e9valuation a r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que les stagiaires sont arriv\u00e9s \u00e0 leurs \u00e9valuations sur le terrain avec plus de connaissances sur la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 mini\u00e8re et le fonctionnement des \u00e9quipements apr\u00e8s la premi\u00e8re semaine de formation sur simulateur et sur RV par rapport aux groupes pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">Gr\u00e2ce aux connaissances acquises dans le cadre de notre projet actuel, ainsi qu\u2019aux le\u00e7ons r\u00e9centes et aux tendances du march\u00e9, nous sommes heureux que notre projet, <a href=\"https:\/\/fsc-ccf.ca\/projects\/developing-modern-mining-skills-through-technology\/\">Programmes d\u2019apprentissage bas\u00e9s sur la technologie pour l\u2019industrie mini\u00e8re<\/a>, re\u00e7oive une enveloppe suppl\u00e9mentaire de 1,86&nbsp;million de dollars du CCF, comme annonc\u00e9 au printemps&nbsp;2022, en vue de faire \u00e9voluer le projet. Cela permet de doubler le nombre de participants, de cr\u00e9er de nouvelles exp\u00e9riences de formation en RV et RA (r\u00e9alit\u00e9 augment\u00e9e) \u00e9volutives et de produire une \u00e9valuation comparative de la formation en RV et RA pour atteindre des objectifs d\u2019apprentissage sp\u00e9cifiques.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\">Toutes ces nouveaut\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re de d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences et de formation nous permettront d\u2019exploiter les profondeurs du bassin de talents canadien et d\u2019am\u00e9liorer les perspectives de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre pour l\u2019industrie mini\u00e8re \u00e0 l\u2019avenir.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"is-style-default\"><em>Lindsay Moorhouse est responsable du marketing et de la communication chez NORCAT.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>L\u2019industrie mini\u00e8re canadienne devra embaucher plus de 80\u2009000&nbsp;nouveaux travailleurs pour pourvoir les postes vacants d\u2019ici 2025.
