Pendant 10&nbsp;ans, il a occup\u00e9 diff\u00e9rents postes dans une banque priv\u00e9e en Iran.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Toutefois, comme de nombreux nouveaux arrivants, il a eu du mal \u00e0 faire reconna\u00eetre ses titres de comp\u00e9tences \u00e9trangers et ne connaissait pas les syst\u00e8mes et processus de travail canadiens. De nombreux employeurs demandent \u00e9galement une exp\u00e9rience professionnelle au Canada. Ces obstacles courants entra\u00eenent souvent des taux de ch\u00f4mage plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s et des salaires plus bas pour les nouveaux arrivants, malgr\u00e9 des niveaux d\u2019\u00e9ducation plus \u00e9lev\u00e9s et un syst\u00e8me d\u2019immigration qui les cible pour leurs r\u00e9alisations en mati\u00e8re d\u2019\u00e9ducation et d\u2019emploi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"has-purple-color has-text-color wp-block-heading\" id=\"EnterFast\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-240817\" style=\"width: 61px;\" src=\"https:\/\/fsc.staging-001.dev\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Enter.svg\" alt=\"\"><strong>Voici&nbsp;: FAST<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa participation \u00e0 un programme de transition vers l\u2019emploi \u00e0 l\u2019Immigrant Services Association of Nova Scotia (ISANS), Saeed a rejoint FAST, un programme national de l\u2019Immigrant Employment Council of BC. FAST est un programme innovant qui soutient et pr\u00e9pare les nouveaux arrivants avant leur arriv\u00e9e et ceux qui viennent d\u2019arriver alors qu\u2019ils naviguent \u00e0 travers le march\u00e9 du travail canadien. Ce programme est une plateforme d\u2019\u00e9valuation et de d\u00e9veloppement des comp\u00e9tences en ligne, adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 chaque profession. Pour des personnes comme Saeed, la plateforme leur permet de voir comment leurs comp\u00e9tences et leurs dipl\u00f4mes se comparent aux normes canadiennes, et de travailler avec eux pour s\u2019y retrouver dans la reconnaissance des dipl\u00f4mes et l\u2019absence d\u2019exp\u00e9rience professionnelle au Canada.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 FAST, Saeed s\u2019est familiaris\u00e9 avec les termes et les r\u00e8glements comptables canadiens et a acquis des informations sur la culture canadienne en rapport avec le lieu de travail. Il a \u00e9galement perfectionn\u00e9 un certain nombre de comp\u00e9tences sociales et \u00e9motionnelles, ou comp\u00e9tences g\u00e9n\u00e9rales, li\u00e9es \u00e0 la communication et aux relations interpersonnelles avec les coll\u00e8gues. Il a d\u00e9croch\u00e9 un emploi dans une soci\u00e9t\u00e9 de services financiers bien connue en Nouvelle-\u00c9cosse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Au cours de ses deux premi\u00e8res ann\u00e9es d\u2019existence, FAST a accueilli 1\u2009200&nbsp;nouveaux arrivants dans des professions relevant de plusieurs programmes&nbsp;: m\u00e9tiers sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s, biotechnologie, sciences de la vie et technologies de l\u2019information. Deux tiers des participants ont trouv\u00e9 un emploi dans leur domaine dans les quatre semaines suivant leur arriv\u00e9e au Canada. En commen\u00e7ant le processus avant ou peu apr\u00e8s leur arriv\u00e9e au Canada, le programme acc\u00e9l\u00e8re l\u2019int\u00e9gration des nouveaux arrivants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce programme apporte une solution \u00e0 un probl\u00e8me r\u00e9current auquel sont confront\u00e9s les nouveaux arrivants, les employeurs et le syst\u00e8me d\u2019immigration dans son ensemble&nbsp;: le peu de recours aux comp\u00e9tences des nouveaux arrivants, qui repr\u00e9sente un gaspillage de talents et de ressources pr\u00e9judiciable non seulement aux individus, mais aussi \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9conomie canadienne. Comme nous nous tournons de plus en plus vers l\u2019immigration pour combler des besoins cibl\u00e9s en mati\u00e8re de comp\u00e9tences et de main-d\u2019\u0153uvre, les programmes comme FAST repr\u00e9sentent un moyen cibl\u00e9 et ax\u00e9 sur les solutions d\u2019am\u00e9liorer la transf\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 des comp\u00e9tences et la r\u00e9ussite sur le march\u00e9 du travail des nouveaux arrivants hautement form\u00e9s et qualifi\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En soutenant le programme FAST, le CCF renforce le lien entre le syst\u00e8me d\u2019immigration et le march\u00e9 du travail en mettant en relation les organisations d\u2019aide aux immigrants et d\u2019orientation professionnelle dans le cadre d\u2019une collaboration cruciale pour l\u2019avenir du travail. Le programme \u00e9valuera 200\u2009000\u00a0personnes d\u2019ici cinq ans, dans le but de faire du Canada une destination de choix pour le personnel de soins qualifi\u00e9.
