Maysa is an education specialist with a career spanning international development and program design and delivery in the non-profit and public sector. Prior to moving to Canada, Maysa spent the past five years supporting the Lebanese Ministry of Education in coordinating bilateral projects to meet the needs of the emergency context of the Syrian refugee crisis and its impact on the education sector. 

She holds a master’s degree in International Education Policy from the Harvard Graduate School of Education and a bachelor’s degree in Peace and Justice Studies from Wellesley College. In her free time, Maysa enjoys cycling, reading, and traveling. Maysa drinks South American tea Yerba Mate every morning, loves the Spice Girls, was sad for a week after the show “Schitt’s Creek” ended, and loves to change her hair colour.
